Halloween 2008

This seems to be Ethan's favorite face....that bottom lip is always in his mouth

Firefighters need fuel to keep them going

Zach loved getting his candy...even on a cold and rainy night

Best buddies...Jacob and Ethan just hanging out

Gotta refuel after running around getting all that candy

Notice Zach trying to get in on Justins candy??

We joined our friends at the Heilners for a great evening of food and trick-or-treating in Natomas. The boys really enjoyed themselves and Zach talks about wanting to go again every day!

Carving Pumpkins

Ethan wanted in on the action as well so he watched from daddy's lap
Zach loved his colored pumpkin and couldn't wait to cut into it

Notice the look of horror when he stuck his hand into the pumpkin and felt all the mushy, gushy inside

All done!!

We tried our first year of letting Zach help with the carving of our Halloween pumpkins. They let him color the pumpkins at church and then we brought them home to carve.

Pumpkin Farm w/Grandpa & Grandma

This is the life...sit and be pulled

Zach loved shooting this pumpkin cannon...he even hit a cow in the next pasture over

Zach and Brian are kings of the mountain

Zach couldn't quite get upright on the big air pillow..to many kids jumping around him

They had a jumping air pillow and Brian went to Zach's rescue to help him stay upright

Ethan and Mommy on the cow train

Zach loved getting to ride the cow train

Grandma was trying to get Zach to pose with the pumpkin

and here he was trying to pose again....

We traveled up to Anderson/Redding to visit Great-Grandpa, Uncle Rick, Aunt Phyllis and Cousin Mike. Grandpa and Grandma took us to a fun pumpkin farm right down the way.

Bishops Pumpkin Farm

The petting zoo was a lot of fun and the animals were great

Ethan even got down with the goats

My boys...in harmony. This doesn't happen very often
Ethan loved the hay!

They are ready for school already...time goes by quickly

Dirt and trucks...how much better can you get?

These giant tires were a lot of fun for the boys

They had so many play structures for Zach to run around in...it will be fun when my boys can chase each other around

Zach loved getting to feed the baby goats

Here are Zach, Justin and Colby getting to feed the babies

Ethan doesn't look like it here but he enjoyed putting his hand out for the goats to lick

They had a corn box where the boys could crawl in and pretend they were chickens...they enjoyed throwing the corn in the air

The youngest (Jacob, Ethan and Paige) were busy looking everywhere but at the camera

Zach loved climbing all over the big pumpkins
Ethan sure did enjoy himself too

The boys and I took a wonderful trip to Woodland where we joined the Rademachers and Heilners for a fun day at the pumpkin patch. It even included a hay ride out to the pumpkin area where you could pick your own pumpkin....what fun!!!
