Another Dialation Check

The student puts her at 9cm, and the nurse puts her at 9cm. It looks like we have a tie this time. Linda is on her way to the hospital. The game of hand and foot is getting closer, but Heather is still winning. I have a feeling, if I have a really good hand, Heather is going to start feeling the contractions more and the game will stand the way it is now.

Dialation Check

The nurse has a student working with her, so Heather gets to play guinee pig. The student says 5cm dialated. The nurse says 6cm. We are going with what the nurse says, since it's the bigger number. Heather is winning hand and foot by much more now. I'm pretty sure she's cheating.

Bring on the drugs

Contractions are getting stronger and closer together. Everything seems to be progressing well. The epidural is in. Heather is winning our game of hand and foot, but only because she got the count right.

At the Hospital

They broke Heather's water around 8:30 this morning and put her on Putosin. Now we are just in the waiting game. She is starting to have contractions, but she is not to the point where she is screeming for drugs yet.

Dr. says...

We had our 40 week appt. today and have officially set up an induction date so that baby Isabella can't hide any longer from us. This coming Thursday, April 9th, we will be reporting to the hospital if she hasn't made an appearance prior to that date. We are looking forward to having her here soon.....if not sooner.

Due date to come and go.....

Well, today is my official due date, April 2nd. But, as of yet we have no baby..and no contractions. We love our little girl, but we would rather love her out here in the world instead of in mommies tummy. Our next appt. is tomorrow morning with the dr. and I am hoping he will give us some sort of good news beyond see you next week. We will keep you updated.

Jelly Belly Factory

We went to the Jelly Belly Factory with Maria and Mandy and the kids...total of 6 kids between us, unless you count Bella...but she was just along for the ride. :-) We really enjoyed ourselves and it was great to get out with our friends. Zach had such a wonderful time getting to see how the Jelly Beans were made and hopes to go back with daddy soon.
