New Years Eve and John's 40th Birthday

What a special day this is....not only are we ending a tremendous year of ups and downs here in the Judd household but we are celebrating John's Birthday. It has been such a wonderful year with Bella joining our household and John finishing up his 2 last surgeries on his feet (we are praying to be done). Zach started preschool and Ethan has grown into such a wonderful little boy who loves to share his opinions with us. God us truly blessed us!!

Snow Day

Today is John's birthday and he decided that we needed to take a quick day trip up to the snow. So off we went up Highway 80 towards Reno in search of snow. It took us about 1 hr and we found snow at an area in Nyack...and lots of other people seemed to have found the same location judging by the number of cars when we pulled off the highway. It was a great time and the kids had a blast building a snowman with daddy and also throwing snow at him....

Christmas Day at the Judd house

The boys woke up late this morning..we actually got to sleep until 7:45, that is unheard of in this house, but we are very thankful for the extras sleep since Santa and Mrs. Claus were up late assembling gifts. Zach received a new bike with training wheels for Christmas this year. Ethan received a storage bin set for all the new toys he was expecting (yes, he is the 2nd boy in the house, but will be receiving Zach's old tricycle in exchange). Bella, well she is so young that Santa didn't really feel the need to bring anything big for her this year, but who knows what next year may bring.

We have a wonderful new addition to our family this year. Thomas, my brother, married Cassandra on Dec. 8th. It was a surprise to all of us, but she is a wonderful addition and blessing to our family. We are looking forward to the big wedding in August.

Zach Christmas Preschool program

Zach had a wonderful Christmas Program at school and John was able to take the day off to spend some time with us at school. It was a great time.

Church Christmas Program

Zach got to sing on stage at church today...he did more of the observing than singing but it was great to see him up there amongst all the other kids.

Just some fun picture we took of the kids this month...Bella is all over the place and climbing up onto anything that she can get her hands on. We have no doubt that she will be walking soon...watch out boys! Ethan and Zach are enjoying the Christmas tree, decorations and the upcoming presents.

Ethan turns 2

It is so hard to believe that our little boy isn't so little any longer. He turned the mighty 2 today and we had such a great time celebrating our little man! We enjoyed a fun dinner at John's Incredible Pizza and then came home for cake and presents. He runs, talks up a storm (in between Zach talking) and is such a happy boy who loves to be hugged and loved on....Thank you Lord for our precious boy!

Snow in Antelope??

That is right...we had a tiny dusting of snow...not anything we could do anything with but it was enough to take a picture of and the kids to touch when we went outside.

Searching for the Perfect Christmas Tree

What fun to let the boys run around at the Christmas tree farm this year. We went down the street like we normally do to 'Mikey's Christmas Trees' and we roamed up and down each of the aisles in search of THE tree. The kids had a lot of fun on a very cold blustery day....

Thanksgiving

We celebrate Thanksgiving with my mothers extended side of the family each year. This year we were in Petaluma at 2nd Cousin Camilla's house. She has a dog training facility that includes sheep and horses. The kids had an amazing time and we adults enjoyed letting them run around and get all that extra energy out...
