Ethan started smiling a little past 5 weeks so we thought we would catch it on video and also post a few pictures of our happy boy.

We were able to spend a few hours with some of my close college girlfriends who live in LA while we were down south. They both have boys Zach's age and Corinne who is a now in kindergarten. They had a lot of fun and it was so great to see Holly and Kristi.

Our Trip to Santa Barbara

Zach and I ran around at the Santa Barbara Mission for a few hours one day
This was his version of hide and go seek
The fountain had small koi fish in it and this was where he spent the majority of his time

This is just to prove that John was with us...but working most of the time

Zach really enjoyed pretending he was driving this toy train
But he really enjoyed the real train that gave us a tour of the Santa Barbar Zoo

The birds were fascinating to him as well
He thought that these were really big birdies...
The gorillas were really big and he got a close up look as you can see

The family took a trip to the beautiful city of Santa Barbara for a few days. John had business down there... We really enjoyed ourselves and the beautiful weather. John was able to see the college I went to for a couple of years and got a tour of the city..plus some great Italian food. If you are ever down in Santa Barbara you have to go to Palazzio's!! The best Italian food in California.
